You see that ZENO Design Co. logo on the bottom right of the image above? Thats my partnered design company with Happy Oscar. This project is a first of our Creative Threads service. It was a fun project to work on.
"... and here.. we.. go."
Laredo boxer Josh Juarez and his brother, Frank, inquired on creating a custom designed tee for fight night. Knowing Josh from one of Oscar's first podcast show, we were excited to create this project him. Each year, they sell merch with a theme. This year, the theme was The Dark Knight's Joker. Being a fan of the movie and character, I started visualizing what the design would look like.

Knowing all the elements needed, I looked for inspiration and references.

I promised I'd create an awesome design. As the first apparel design project at Zeno, I wanted to make sure it was an impressive one. Capturing the the facial details with the joker face paint was challenging, but I did my best.
I'm glad they liked the final design! It was great seeing people wearing the tees on Fight Night.
